Membership Has its Benefits!
Members have immediate access to a variety of free or low cost tools and resources to help supplement their online and distributed learning programs. The greater our membership the greater our bargaining and purchasing power for shared products and services. A greater membership also means greater networking and sharing opportunities, increased revenue for course development and greater strength as a truly provincial consortium!
Benefits
All members have access to a number of resources and opportunities, that may not otherwise be available, including:
- Free use of all Cool School materials offered in WebCT format or in a format that can be transferred to another platform.
- Free use of certain Open School online materials, courses and materials offered in WebCT format and available on the Online Consortium Hosted Service.
- Elluminate Live! Virtual Classrooms and free weekly training and support from Odyssey Learning.
- Resources from the Open School's 'Educators Resource Centre', a newly created resource BC in which educators can access and share their digital resources.
- The BCEd Online Community where members can connect, share, learn and support each other.
- The BCEd Online annual spring Conference which is fast becoming the 'premiere' event in the province bringing together over 500 educators and leaders in the field of online learning.
- Latest News on upcoming events, learning opportunities, resources and ways to become involved.
- Webcasts, podcasts and so much more.

To Become a Member
School Districts:
All school districts in the province are eligible to become members. To become a member of BCEd Online:
- Download the Consortium Agreement and have schedule A completed and signed by your district's secretary treasurer
- Fax the completed form to 250-753-9748 or scan and email it to info@bcedonline.ca.
Independent schools and other organizations:
Independent schools and other organizations can also join after being approved by the BCEd Online Management Committee. Please contact Tanis tdagert@bcedonline.ca if you're interested in an associate membership for your school or organization.
Membership Fees
School district members pay an annual fee (school year) based on the number of students in the district.

| up to 5,999 | $2,000.00 |
| 6,000 - 7,499 | $2,500.00 |
| 7,500 - 9,999 | $3,000.00 |
| 10,000 - 14,999 | $4,000.00 |
| 15,000 - 24,999 | $5,000.00 |
| 25,000 - 34,999 | $6,000.00 |
| 35,000 + | $8,000.00 |
Independent schools and other educational organizations pay an annual fee of $2,000.00.
