Identifying and inventory high quality online science content is part of the Virtual School Society’s commitment to supporting the creation of a management system for online content through which:

  • well-established content development groups are encouraged to collaborate regularly and share their content
  • individuals, schools or districts involved in online content development activities can access support services, including financial support
  • individuals, schools or districts can access mechanisms through which they can promote and share their content with others in the system.

Submission & Review Process

Before submitting any content you are considering, if you are the person who developed, if you own it, or if you have used it in the delivery of the secondary Science curriculum, you may find it helpful to us our Content Standards Rubric that will be used to assess your submission. This Rubric is derived from the Ministry of Education Standards for K-12 Distributed Learning in British Columbia.

All content submitted will be reviewed and rated by a team of curriculum specialists and subject matter experts including teachers, instructional designers and online content development specialists. This team will review all submissions against the Standards for K-12 Distributed Learning in British Columbia.

How to Submit Content

To submit content for review, please complete the submission form. Results of the online Science content review will be available in May 2007.
