This session will explore the design of effective online courses. We’ll look at some basic elements of instructional design as they relate to online delivery and discuss some strategies you can employ to improve an existing course, or design a new one.

Presenter Michelle Nicholson

Michelle Nicholson is in her ninth year as an Instructional Designer and Project Manager with Open School BC in Victoria. Michelle’s credentials include an M. Ed (Educational Communication and Technology) and B.Ed (Reading), but probably more impressive, she has 22 years of experience as a classroom teacher, working with K-9 students in BC and Sask.
